Bean dream melt

White beans, roasted pepper & kimchi

Ingredients

  • 1 Polarbröd Rye Grand
  • 30 g plain cream cheese
  • 30 g grated mozzarella
  • 50 g cooked white beans
  • 50 g roasted pepper strips
  • 30 g kimchi

Do this

  1. Mix together the cream cheese and grated mozzarella
  2. Mash the beans coarsely with a fork and mix in the roasted pepper and kimchi
  3. Lay out the bread on a worktop with the smooth side upwards
  4. Spread the cream cheese and mozzarella over the bread
  5. Add the bean mixture over half of the bread
  6. Fold it over to make a polar melt and press down gently
  7. Wrap and place in the fridge
  8. Serving suggestion: Remove the wrapping. Put the sandwich in a toaster or on a griddle. Heat the sandwich for roughly 3 minutes (until the cheese melts). Divide it in half and serve
